The Moroccan American Council to Empower Women, MACEMW is a nonprofit, non-political organization whose main focus is to connect and support American and Moroccan women all over the world as integral parts of growth and development in today’s society. MACEMW inspires to strengthen women’s voices as decision makers, leaders and role models by organizing educational, social and cultural events through community projects, networking, as well as participating in civic activities. Its vision is to create a strong community of women who are fully integrated in American society, to ensure all women have equal opportunities in their communities and in all aspects of life. Raising awareness about Moroccan history, culture and traditions is one of MACEMW ‘s top goals.
